Need someone who can perform as a Scrum Master but also pivot to a traditional PM role if needed
Must Haves:
1. Experience driving the work of a cross functional team including both FTE and vendor resources
2. Ability to start a project from scratch by driving project charter, project plan and resource plan and budget and manage these components throughout the project
3. Agile experience
Nice to Have:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
2. Scrum master certification
• Works collaboratively with partners in IT, business areas and vendors in understanding, and enhancing business requirements to create technical, and functional specifications.
• Leads the design, build, validation, implementation, and maintenance of IT application systems and/or infrastructure solutions in support of our current, and future business needs.
• In an agile methodology, may facilitate the scrum ceremonies. Ensures that the project is working smoothly, and every team member has tools to get their work done efficiently.
• Acting in a scrum master role, they must execute the backlog as wished by product owner, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality.
• Interfaces with and guides software engineers and/or vendor partners in providing clarifications on design patterns, as needed.
• Performs solution verification to ensure the solution is built in accordance with the specifications meeting business and technical requirements.
• Provides support and/or interfaces with support teams, internal or external, to ensure business and technical issues with applications and/or infrastructure are resolved timely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance to project delivery methods, tools, framework, and IT controls.
• Working knowledge of PPM and agile tools (Jira)
• Thorough understanding of enterprise software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies
• Bring a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day activities and when helping others make strategic trade-offs
• Self-starter with the ability to lead teams through ambiguity to solve problems and drive results
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientated
• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
